Duties
- Prepares, compiles and sorts documents for data entry.
- It verifies and records the receipt of data.
- Rewrites the source data into the required electronic format.
- Transfers information from paper formats to computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
- Performs large amounts of data entry using a word processor, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
- It verifies data integrity by comparing it to source documents.
- Checks data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
- Maintains registration system and protects confidential customer information.
- Performs regular backups to ensure data protection.
- Responds to requests to retrieve data from a database or electronic filing system.
- Uses basic office equipment (copier, fax, etc.)
- Maintains satisfactory levels of quality and productivity to department standards.
- Completes other assigned tasks as needed.
